Awesome Saturday

It was a beautiful day in South Texas yesterday. Not a cloud in the sky, no crazy wind, and a high of 84. We were able to take the babies out, it was great. I was so proud of them we went to lunch and several stores, we were gone about 7 hours and they never made a peep until it was close to their time to eat. I couldnt believe they stayed in carseats the whole day! We bought a double jogging stroller yesterday, I must say its pretty cool! Chris is excited because you can hook your I-pod to it. I cant wait to see what this beautiful day has in store for our family!

Bad blogger!

Wow I am a bad blogger. I can not believe it is already March. The babies are 4 months old! We had the 4 month check up yesterday, everything went well. Auston is 10lbs 6oz and Anslea is 11 lbs 3 oz. Both babies are 23 inches long. They are growing right on track with their adjusted age. We are going to try cereal with a spoon this week, I can not believe its already time for that!

We just had a great weekend with my parents, it was so nice to have them here. It stinks that they live so far away but I am thankful they are able to come down. The babies are so much more engaging with smiling and cooing it makes for a great visit. You could eat them with a spoon...haha. We are looking forward to our trip to see them again in May, hopefully they will come back before then.

Auston is in love with his duck rattle, it must go everywhere with us. He talks to it for hours. Anslea is still the most laid back baby, she has become a thumbsucker and twirls her hair while she does it, very cute! They really are blessings and it so much fun to watch their personalities develop .
