Homecoming

Well, yesterday was one of the most exciting days of my life. Auston and Anslea got to come home! It was the best feeling walking out of that NICU with both babies! I am so thankful for all the family and friends that have supported us with prayers the last 5 weeks. God for sure answered all the prayers we lifted up to Him. I was able to leave that unit with two healthy preemies, no monitors, and no horrible diagnosis.

Last night was a hard but great night. We are all trying to adjust to the newness. I believe the babies are used to a loud enviornment and had a hard time sleeping. Of course, Chris and I are trying to get used to waking every 3 hours to feed them. It is amazing to have them home though. Id much rather sleepless nights than not have them in my arms.

  1. The pics are precious! I can't wait to see how they grow and change!

Right after Ben was born, we had to sleep with the TV on for a few nights because he wouldn't sleep without the light or noise. He finally got used to "regular" sleep noise/light. Have you tried a noise maker or small fan? Those work great, too! The
